Trudging...

William: Oi sir, what are you doing?
Chaucer: Uh... trudging. You know, trudging?
[pause]
Chaucer: To trudge: the slow, weary, depressing yet determined walk of a man who has nothing left in life except the impulse to simply soldier on.
William: Uhhh... were you robbed?
Chaucer: [laughs] Funny really, yes, but at the same time a huge resounding no. It's more of an... involuntary vow of poverty... really.

A very funny line from the movie "A Knight's Tale" starring Heath Ledger.

That is what this stage in our relocation process feels like. Not at all as depressing as the quote makes it out to be, but at this point Britt and I are doing the things that just need to be done. We are continuing to meet with potential supporters, paying our last round of bills, making "living arrangements" for the furniture we'll be leaving behind...stuff like that :)

In very recent news, there was a slight fender-bender that occurred earlier today (not our fault) that requires that we have some [minor] body work done to Ducky, our Honda Civic. Please be praying that this seemingly inconvenient...hick-up goes smoothly.

Additionally in the very recent news section, I am currently awaiting a phone call to announce that I will be [once again] an uncle! HELLO WORLD, MAKE WAY FOR KAYDEN JAMES MCALLISTER!
