Mi Casa Es Su Casa

Hey guys, sorry for missing my post deadline for last week. I've been a little under the weather in addition to being a busy bee.

This past Sunday we went to a Tianguis (Tea-ON-Geese), which is a HUMUNGOUS open-air market where people sell handmade crafts, furniture, pottery, and more for low low prices. We came away with a couple good deals and were able to furnish a good chunk of our apartment! I could tell you about how our apartment is coming together but I'd rather just show you :)

So that's where we live! It's about a 5 minute walk from our place to the house that serves as our "base of operations" and about an 8 minute walk to the mall with a Wal Mart.

Things are going well though we have been fighting off colds. Praise God that at no point have we gotten sick from drinking the water which is a huge victory.

This past week we have been working on casting vision for the work to be done this year. We want to make sure the students understand just how important their efforts are to their fellow students and the rest of the world. Thank you everyone for praying and supporting us in our mission to reach the college campus in Guadalajara.

Hasta la próxima vez,

We love you

  4. This is awesome!! It already looks so homey. You will need a Uhaul when you move back for all the great things you buy there!
