School of Hard Knocks

Good morning everybody!

Can I just say that time is flying by!?!

Be encouraged, because we see God at work here in Mexico!!!

On some of the campuses we are having to start from the ground up, so we're trying to be on campus as much as possible through English conversation clubs, meeting with students, and having weekly meetings. Without any sort of framework, it's up to us (and by us I mean our team of students) to shape what the ministry will look like.

Actually, I just created a blog for the different campuses to stay in better communication with one another. Below is Punto de Encuentro's logo smack-dab over Mexico that I created for the website, but why not go to the site itself?

Right now, it will just serve as a way for students to more readily find their group on Facebook...but who knows, maybe it will serve a bigger purpose in the future.

It seems like we don't have many resources to work with in many areas of ministry right now, so the challenge is great, but we're not giving up. Also, my eyes are being opened to how far I've come in my relationship with the Lord since being a Freshman in college. I've been taking for granted training I've received and things that Jesus has taught me over the years. Please be praying that I have patience with younger students who are in the same spot I was 5 years ago.

May God's blessing show up in your life and take you into a deeper and more meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ, the savior of the world.
