I just wanted to share with everyone about my Winter-to-Spring transition. Over Spring break I led a Spring Break Outreach (SBO) team of 9 students to the University of Idaho!

It was a week of praying for the Chi Alpha group there and the students they minister to in addition to talking to anyone and everyone (I'm guessing well over 200 people) about their experiences with faith. Our students got experience in sharing their faith with others and the U of I Chi Alpha students were encouraged that they are not alone in sharing the gospel. Neither are YOU!
We spent more than 10 hours together as a team throughout Winter quarter training and preparing for this intense week-long trip learning things like:
-How to share your testimony (the history of your relationship with God)
-How to explain the Gospel (not always as easy as people think! :)
-How to start a conversation (without being manipulative)
-How to effectively minister on a short-term trip
Personally, this trip was one of the most challenging things I've done in a long time (especially since I was leading solo) but I feel like I learned so much more about my strengths and weaknesses as a leader. Not to mention that I had the chance to practice so much of what I've been learning this year.
Thank you to everyone who prays for Brittany and I, we are stronger for it :)
