The local AG pastor in Athens sent this link to Kyle a few days ago. It took our breath away when we watched it and has been haunting us ever since. We have gone back and forth about whether to share it with you folks but honestly it is on the web so anyone can see it and it clearly demonstrates why we feel that Jesus wants missionaries on the campus of Ohio University. *Please be warned this video is not intended for all audiences* After watching it hopefully you will have a better understanding of how you can pray for this campus and for us.
It's overwhelming for us to watch this. It breaks our hearts that students are fooled into believing this is "cool" and fun and the way to enjoy your time in college. I wonder what the kids who drank their way out of college feel about that. We spoke at Cornerstone AG in Sidney, Ohio this weekend and spoke with a lady there who's son drank his way out of his freshman year in college...and into prison.
Jesus is real.
Jesus makes a difference.
Jesus is worth it.
