This is a REAL life. Not a movie, not a tv show but a real person with real dreams and hopes and fears and misconceptions about life and/or God. Molly's life was changed because of an experience, a relationship with the Living God. He is no longer a fairy tale or a figment of someone's imagination. He is approachable, reciprocating in communication, and just simply REAL.
I can't see myself being satisfied do anything other than Chi Alpha. People like Molly, people like myself 9 years ago is why we are our pouring our hearts into campus ministry. I am working full time at Starbucks right now so we can pay our bills while Kyle finishes up the classes he needs to have completed so we can become nationally appointed missionaries. But recently, I have felt the Lord spurring my heart on to raise our budget with more urgency so we can devote our time to making a difference in the lives of students like Molly. Our first goal is to raise another $1000 in the monthly support by the end of August so I can cut my hours back at Starbucks and start investing more time and energy into students like Molly who have yet to be changed. Will you help us?
How you can help:
1) Will you pray for our support raising time? For us to reach our first goal, here's how $1000/month breaks down to become more manageable:
20 supporters giving $50 monthly
13-14 supporters giving $75 monthly
10 supporters giving $100 monthly
2) Could you refer us to people you know who might be willing to support missions work? We are looking to expand our reach to share the vision of Chi Alpha with those who are ready to make a splash on "the university campus, the marketplace, and the world". We are full of faith and ready to meet people who think as big as we do :) If you were going to start support raising yourself, who would you ask? Those are the people we'd like to meet. Please email us (ky.mcal@gmail.com) or call us (330-391-0525) with any names you can think of.
Thank you for helping us continue to serve the students God cares about so much!
