January Update

Just wanted to give a quick update on where we are, how things are going and how you can help!

1) "So where are you guys at now?"
Seems to be a popular question.  We are still in Fairborn, OH. But if you didn't mean our actual location but where are we in our budget? Well, we have actually had $110 new monthly support come in this week!!!!  (our goal right now is $70) So with that we are now at 46% of our budget raised.  We need to be at 60% by April 1st.  Woot!  Woot!

Next year we could be bringing students too and not just a flag :)

2) How are things going?
We had hoped to be half way in our support raising by now so to the untrained eye it looks like we are behind.  BUT do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.  He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.  He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.  Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:28-31  < ----  So we are doing this :)  and we are doing well.

Also, Abigail will be 7 months on Jan 24th.

3) How can you help?
Prior to Esther going before the King she asked Mordecai to call all the Jewish people to pray and fast for 3 days for her and their impeding doom.  She walked before the King in confidence and with favor from God.  While Jesus was praying in Gethsemane he asked his 3 disciples to pray with him before he was to turn his life over for us.  Its not uncommon to ask others to pray with you about something going on in your life.  

• Please pray that we will meet more people who are interested in partnering with our ministry and seeing a Jesus-centered ministry on the campus of OU
• Pray that we remain steadfast in calling people everyday 
• Pray for favor as we are meeting with people weekly
