This is just since April 1st, 2013!!  

What causes a couple to cold call people we don't know, to meet face-to-face with people we have never met and step out of our comfort zone to ask for monthly support?  

1 Thessalonians 1:4 says it best "We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ."  

That's it.  That's why we do this.  We believe Jesus is who He says He is and have seen how He can change lives that we can't help but want to tell others about Him.  An overflow of our faith: we work.  Our hearts break for a campus that doesn't know or revere God.  Students raping other students, kids taking their own lives because they fear there is no other way out, even just future leaders solidifying what they believe about abortion, capital punishment and homosexuality is a cause for concern.  

We labor because we first loved.  

We continue to do this even when it gets hard and feels like an uphill battle because of our hope in Jesus.  We endure because the Lord inspires us to keep going.

God willing, 2014 will bring with it our completed budget, us moving to Athens and re-starting Chi Alpha Campus Ministries at Ohio University.  We are so excited!!

We are kicking off 2014 by attending SALT which is Chi Alpha's winter conference.  We will be teaching a breakout training session concerning the value of life within the context of abortion, capital punishment, euthanasia, etc. Then, it will be hitting support raising hard January 6th to make our goal of being 65% raised by April 1st, 2014.  Thank you for you encouragement and support and for believing with us that Jesus is totally worth it :)
